Digital Mental Health Services
Head to Health have many digital resources for health concerns, specifically mental health, including sleep, parenting etc.
Beyond Blue has information, resources, and free online counselling for people needing support with mood and anxiety problems.
This Way Up provides low-cost (approx $59) online cognitive behaviour therapy courses via their website or mobile apps.
Brave Online has a free online cognitive behaviour therapy course for kids and teens with anxiety.
Reach Out AU has information and resources for mental health and well-being for individuals under 25, as well as their parents and teachers.
Local (Tas) Support Organisations
Launceston Medicare Mental Health Centre (formerly Head to Health Centre) is a free and accessible service offering immediate mental health support for individuals aged 18 and over, providing a safe and welcoming space at 62-64 Canning Street. The service operates on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays. As hours may change, please visit their website for the most up-to-date opening times. No appointment or referral is required.
Mindset Tasmania provides state-wide mental health programs, specifically tailored for adults dealing with severe and episodic issues, with support facilitated through independently evaluated initiatives and a peer worker-based workforce. Phone: 1800 290 666.
Wellways Launceston provide support and case management for people with mental health concerns and/or disability. Phone: 1300 111 400
Regional Autistic Engagement Network (RAEN) provides peer support, community, training, and advocacy for Autistic and ADHD individuals across Tasmania.

Butterfly Foundation National Helpline provides free and confidential counselling for people experiencing eating disorders or body image concerns, including family and support networks. Phone: 1800 334 673
Local Support
Tasmanian Eating Disorder Service (TEDS) is a free clinic for individuals aged 16 and over seeking support for disordered eating. Self-referrals can be made by calling the Access Mental Health Helpline on 1800 332 388, or a health professional can refer directly.

Counselling Online is a free and confidential 24/7 online counselling service for people across Australia affected by alcohol or drug use.
Turning Point provides national support through information, resources, and treatment options for alcohol and drug concerns. Includes help for individuals, families, and professionals.
Family Drug Help offers phone support for family members impacted by a loved one’s substance use. Staffed by trained volunteers from 9am to 9pm, Monday to Friday. Phone: 1300 660 068
Local Support
