Meet the presenter
Our training is primarily facilitated by senior clinical psychologist Catherine Bishop, who has extensive experience in neurodiversity-affirming practice, trauma-informed care, and professional learning across education settings, allied health teams, and community organisations. Catherine balances theory with real-world application, creates a safe and affirming space for attendees, and brings a warm, engaging style to her sessions—often with a well-timed meme to support learning.
Featured Training: Neurodiversity-Affirming Training for Helping Professionals
We offer tailored neurodiversity-affirming professional learning for organisations that support Autistic and ADHD people.
Whether your team works in allied health, mental health, disability services, education, community services, youth work, or another helping profession, training can be adapted to suit the needs of your workforce, the people you support, and the challenges you encounter in practice.
Many organisations tell us their staff want to provide neurodiversity-affirming support but are unsure how to translate this into everyday practice. This training focuses on practical adjustments, real-world examples, and approaches that attendees can immediately apply in their work with Autistic and ADHD people.
Training may explore topics such as:
Understanding autism and ADHD beyond diagnostic criteria
Neurodiversity-affirming principles and approaches
Common lived experiences of Autistic and ADHD people

Understanding and responding to demand avoidance
Co-occurring mental health presentations

We work collaboratively with organisations to ensure training is relevant, practical, and tailored to the specific needs of attendees.
