Fees
Fees depend on the service and the clinician providing the service. You can find out more about funding sources and fees contained in the information about our therapy services and assessment services.
The current 2023-24 national recommended fee for psychologists, as determined by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) is $300.00 per 50-minute session.
The current AASW national recommended fee for accredited mental health social workers, as determined by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), is $270 per 50-minute session.
In the interest of equity, the standard fee per hour is priced below the National Schedule of Recommended Fees noted above. The standard fee for a 50-minute appointment is:

$150 Provisional Psychologist
$230 Psychologist*
$150 AASW Accredited Social Worker
$230 Accredited Mental Health Social Worker*
$245 Clinical Psychologist*
$255 Senior Clinical Psychologist*
$240 Assessing Psychologist
*Medicare or private health insurer rebates may apply.
NDIS participants are billed at the current NDIS schedule rate for Therapeutic Supports or Early Childhood Intervention, depending on the type of clinician. Fees for services funded by third parties vary. You can discuss this further with our friendly admin team.
Please note that HMC is not a bulk-billing service, and payment is required on the day each service is provided.
