This session will provide an opportunity for supervisees to explore challenges they come across in interpreting cognitive assessment data. With a specific focus on WISC and WAIS assessments specifically, we will explore the types of observations one should be looking out for to support interpretation of assessment results.
We will discuss how to integrate assessment data into broader observations and context in order to make meaningful interpretations and recommendations to support the individual client's needs.
A facilitated learning activity using hypothetical WISC or WAIS results will support supervisees to reflect on their interpretative processes, including personal biases.
